Luiz Carlos Sandoval Goés

Luiz Carlos Sandoval Góes. graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Aeronautical Institute of Technology (ITA) in 1975. Master of Science from the Department of Physics, ITA in 1978. Research Assistant and PhD from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986. Professor of the Mechanical Engineering Division (IEM) since 1976 and Full Professor of the Mechatronics Department at ITA since 1991. Held several administrative positions at ITA, including, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Head of the Design (Projects) Department-IEM, Vice-Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Division Mechanics (IEM), Vice-Chair of the Post-Graduate Division (IEP), Head of the Mechatronics Department – IEM, Dean of Post-Graduate Studies at ITA. Retired in 2020, as Head of the Department. Mechatronics of ITA, develops teaching and research activities at the Post-Graduate School, as a volunteer collaborator, in the areas of dynamic modeling, identification and control of aerospace systems, instrumentation and measurement systems, active control of flexible structures, simulation and control of unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAV).
